Welcome to Bestennis—your courtside companion in the beautiful, occasionally chaotic, and always addictive world of tennis.
Whether you’re learning how to hold a racket for the first time or perfecting your topspin forehand, we’re here to guide, teach, and geek out right alongside you. Bestennis isn’t just another tennis site with lists and stats—we’re a growing community of players, coaches, and fans who believe that the game gets a whole lot more fun when you actually understand how and why things work the way they do.
From the basics of Tennis 101 to the nitty-gritty of grip pressure, footwork drills, string tension, and everything in between—Bestennis is built for players who want to improve their game and actually enjoy the process.
Because let’s be real—tennis is one of the few sports where you can sweat buckets, curse under your breath, feel like a pro for one magical rally, and then whiff a forehand into the net three seconds later. And we love that.
Bestennis started the way a lot of great tennis stories do: with a borrowed racket, a few missed serves, and the kind of obsession that turns into late-night YouTube drills and grip tape purchases you definitely didn’t need (but absolutely bought anyway).
Our founders were everyday players frustrated by the lack of simple, down-to-earth tennis advice online. Everything either felt too advanced, too robotic, or too focused on the pros. So we built something better. Something human.
Today, Bestennis is run by tennis instructors, gear testers, recreational players, and lifelong fans. Some of us play competitively. Some of us just like hitting against a wall on weekends. All of us believe that tennis should be accessible, approachable, and genuinely fun to learn.
We’ve double-faulted our way through more matches than we’d care to admit. We’ve bought the wrong strings. We’ve played with loose laces and sweaty palms and forgotten what side we’re serving from more times than we can count. And we’ve learned something from every one of those moments. Now we’re here to pass that knowledge on to you.
If you're new to the game—welcome. Seriously. You’ve just entered a sport that’s 50% physical, 50% mental, and 100% addictive.
Our Tennis 101 section is your crash course into the world of tennis. We break down everything you need to know to get started—from court dimensions and scoring rules to serving basics and etiquette (yes, there is a polite way to question a call).
Not sure what a “let” is? Confused by “advantage in” vs. “advantage out”? Want to avoid showing up in running shoes that make you slip and slide like a cartoon character? We’ve got you.
This section is here to make you feel confident, not confused—so you can step on the court without feeling like the odd one out.
Once you’ve got the basics down, it’s time to level up. Our Techniques section is all about building solid habits and sharpening your skills—one shot at a time.
We go deep into everything from footwork and racket angles to serve mechanics, split steps, grip types, and match strategy. But we don’t just throw theory at you—we explain how to actually apply it on court, whether you’re rallying with a friend or competing in your first league match.
Got a slice backhand that floats? Struggling to read spin? Feeling stuck in baseline limbo? We break down the “why” behind the stroke, not just the motion. And we offer drills that don’t require a coach, ball machine, or country club membership.
Tennis is a game of patterns, adjustments, and micro-movements—and we’re here to help you master them.
You don’t need the most expensive racket to play well—but choosing the right one for your game? That matters.
In our Equipment & Gear section, we cover rackets, strings, balls, grips, shoes, bags, vibration dampeners, sweatbands… basically, if it can be held, worn, or smacked on a court, we’ve got an opinion on it.
We compare the gear used by the pros with options that won’t drain your wallet. We test equipment like actual players do—under sun, sweat, pressure, and yes, even frustration. Our reviews are honest, unfiltered, and beginner-friendly. No technical jargon unless we explain it. No hype unless it’s earned.
Because gear isn’t just about performance—it’s about confidence. The right grip, the right weight, the right feel in your hand? That’s what takes your game to the next level.
We don’t do fluff. We don’t do snobby tennis talk. We believe that learning this sport should feel more like a rally—back-and-forth, engaging, challenging—and less like reading a dry instruction manual.
At Bestennis, we value:
Because we know that tennis isn’t just a sport—it’s a mindset. It’s problem-solving in motion. It’s learning to bounce back after double-faulting a game away. And it’s chasing that one rally that feels so good, you forget about everything else for a moment.
We’re here for the people who show up early to warm up. The ones who stay late to hit just ten more serves. The ones who want to play smarter, not just harder.
We don’t claim to have all the answers—but we do have the heart, experience, and curiosity to help you figure them out for yourself.
Bestennis is growing fast. More tutorials. More product breakdowns. More drills, match strategies, and maybe even community features where we spotlight players just like you.
We’re building tools that are actually useful—printable court maps, pre-match checklists, gear fit guides, and maybe even a podcast where we talk about the mental game, equipment hype, and why no one ever practices volleys anymore (seriously—why?).
Our goal? To become the first tab you open when you need tennis advice that doesn’t talk down to you.
Whether you're chasing your first clean hit or your fifth league win, we’re thrilled you found us.
Got a question? A tip? A story you’re dying to share about the time you beat your coach with a borrowed racket? Email us anytime at contact@bestennis.com. We’d love to hear from you.
Now grab your gear, take a deep breath, and get back on court.
We’ll be right here when you need your next boost.
